Three Phase & 400 Hz AC Induction Motor Manufacturer
We make single phase and three phase induction motors to meet the varied needs of our clients. These motors are often referred to as “workhorse” motors, as they are used in many high demand, industrial, and heavy duty applications, such as aerospace defense systems and vehicles, as well as various elevator, railroad, hydraulics machine, pump, petroleum and oil drilling equipment, among many others.
Induction motors are available with copper rotors or aluminum rotors. We provide 400 cycle and 60 cycle options. We can also provide gearheads or brakes.
They are available in speed ranges from sub-fractional horsepower to upwards of two and three horsepower. We can fabricate electric motors outside this range based on your unique requirements.
We offer kit motors, which include the stator assembly, rotor assembly with AC rotors and rotor castings, shaft, and other components. These frameless induction motor kits are for customers that want to use their own frame or housing. If you need stator assemblies, specialty windings, and potted coils we can meet your needs.

Three Phase Induction Motors
These motors are designed to operate from a three-phase source of alternating voltage. The stator is a classic three-phase stator with the winding assembly displaced by 120 degrees.
We manufacture them using squirrel cage rotors with aluminum and copper bars. We also offer them with thermal protectors and thermal shutoff. This feature protects the winding due to excessive operational temperatures or overload of current.
AC Induction Motors
These motors are one of the two primary types of AC motors that we design and manufacture. They are powered by alternating current and consist of two basic parts: an outside stationary stator with coils and an inside rotor attached to the output shaft.
The outside stator produces a rotating magnetic field, while the inside rotor is given torque by that field. These motors are also called asynchronous motors.
400 HZ Motors For The Aerospace And Defense Industry
In serving the needs of aerospace and military, we provide high precision motors that deliver exceptional performance. These include 400 HZ AC induction motors that are used on commercial and military aircraft. They are specifically designed to withstand extreme temperatures, heavy moisture, high shock, vibration and altitude, and other demanding circumstances.
We can provide motors that meet with any and all NEMA specifications, with features that include open frame, fan-cooled construction, integral mounted generator, gearhead, brake, fan, and/or blower. We can also incorporate various installation systems, special mounting configurations, and special alloy construction.
What Sets ARC Systems Inc. Apart?
We are a unique induction motor manufacturer and supplier because of our design, development, and production capabilities. If you require a custom induction motor, or other motion control or actuation system, our vastly experienced team of expert engineers can design, develop, and manufacture products according to your needs.
We manufacture based on the frequency, voltage, and output requirements of our customers. We’ll work closely with you to create a design, or follow your tech drawing and specs, so that your motors will suit all requirements and will operate reliably in your system or application. Tell us about your power, speed, load, drive, and other machinery requirements and our engineers will help you identify your best motor options.
We can help you develop outline drawings based on your idea, so you can provide your engineers with design specs for their approval prior to motor development and manufacture. We work directly with engineers and OEMs, as well as consultants and purchasing agents.
You can browse our catalog for standard motors we manufacture, all of which can be modified to suit the specifics of your individual system. You can search by part number and other details.
Our selection includes series of BLDC motors, synchronous motors, low-speed high torque motors, as well as generators, stator and rotor kits, and more. We have electrical motors designed for heavy and large applications, as well as smaller, precision technology.
If you need a motion control product that exceeds the performance and quality of commercial, off-the-shelf options, we offer a full range of solutions.
For a custom-built motor based on a new design, contact us directly to discuss your desired performance and development specs.
