Unlike brushed DC motors, brushless DC motors lack brushes that eventually wear out. These devices can eliminate sparking, depending on the application and operation specifics, and contribute to extended longevity over brush style motors.
We manufacture three-phase brushless DC motors in WYE or delta winding configurations and with class H insulation.
The motors we build range in size from 3/4” in diameter to upwards of 3” or 4” in diameter. We can provide sub-fractional horsepower to 2.5 horsepower motors, with various voltage inputs ranging from 12 volts to 600 volts.
We offer hall sensors as the commutation, which are typically resistant to 150 degrees Celsius. If high-temperature hall sensors are required, we can build motors with specialized sensors that will operate at temperatures as high as 200 degrees Celsius.

Brushless Motor Housing, Frames, And Controller Options
When we manufacture brushless DC motors, we supply the unit complete with housing, end bells, rotor assembly, and the bearings. We have the systems and technology to create a complete product, including all mechanical and electric components.
We offer various types of housing materials for equipment that must be lightweight and also to ensure the motor operates safely and reliably in harsh environments. Housings made from stainless steel grades in the 300-series, 400-series and 17-4 PH are some of the most common that we offer.
If you need a BLDC motor frame built to unique specs or automation demands, we can design and manufacture it for you.
We can also build controllers for our brushless DC motors if required, though most are designed to work with off-the-shelf controllers.
Frameless BLDC Motors
Frameless BLDC motors are available so you can fit the stator and rotor assembly directly into the housing and tools of your choice. We can also supply just the stator assembly and magnet assembly, or the stator assembly and magnet assembly already on a shaft.
Frameless options are useful for medical applications and in the manufacture of small tools, as assemblies can be built and placed directly in your equipment or device with ease and efficiency.
Some customers prefer to assemble our brushless assemblies in their own housing, which is why we provide a range of frameless options. In addition to being more cost-effective, it's also conducive to regulating the weight of a finished motor.
