AC induction motors have a simple, rugged construction that costs relatively little to manufacture.  ARC Systems' complete line of AC induction motors are manufactured using a squirrel cage rotor that utilizes both aluminum and copper bars.  Speed and torque can be tailored to individual requirements by shifting the conductivity of the rotor bars.  Custom motors that operate at other frequencies are also available through our catalog.
